First opportunity for virtual public testimony is Wednesday October 14th. Change is made by those who show up!

DON'T MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY to tell your story and let lawmakers know what you are going through and how proposed cuts will affect you! The Joint Legislative Executive Committee (JLEC) on Planning for Aging and Disability Issues is holding a virtual work session to discuss COVID-19's impact on people with disabilities as well as get an update on the budget from the Department of Social and Health Services. The meeting starts at 3:00 pm and from 4:00 to 5:00 they will have a time for Public Testimony.

YOU MUST REGISTER TO SPEAK! Anyone can watch the committee discussion, but if you want to share your story about how COVID-19 has affected you or a family member with a disability, or if you want to give input on the catastrophic budget cuts being proposed, you must register to speak at least 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE. Learn how to register at https://app.leg.wa.gov/CSIRemote/Joint
